What We Do

Look into the faces of Knoxville's neediest people. Yes, you will see the weary men struggling with alcohol and other addictions. But look again. You will also see responsible, employed parents forced to choose between paying rent and buying groceries. You will see entire families whose lives were shattered when their jobs disappeared.

Our Savior said "Behold, I make all things new..." (Rev. 21:5). And every day at Knox Area Rescue Ministries is an opportunity for the grace of Jesus Christ to renew hope and restore lives hanging in the balance. You can be a part of this ministry, and you can share in this blessing.

	Outreach & Rescue The first acts of compassion are often a hot, nourishing meal, a safe refuge for the night and a relationship with our outreach care coordinators who will work to help our clients find solutions to their homelessness.
	Residential Recovery By the time people find their way to KARM they are broken and alone. They’ve lost any hope for the future. At KARM we provide rest from a chaotic life – and a place to revive their spirits.
	Evangelism & Discipleship The ministry of KARM holds that all individuals are created in the image of God and lovingly cherished by Jesus.  Through Bible studies, discipleship training and chapel services, we are restoring lives in Jesus’ name.
