Jeremiah 6:16 (NIV) says, "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it . . ."
When people come to us, they're at a crossroads. For whatever reason, their path has brought them through the doors of KARM.
We lovingly bring them to a place of understanding that they have choices to make. And we hope they'll ask for the path "where the good way is."

That's why I like to say our Crossroads Welcome Center is where great need meets the Great Commission.
At Crossroads Welcome Center, the overwhelmed become empowered — they learn what they can do to survive the current crisis, overcome difficulties and get the support and encouragement they need from people who care.
For these folks, Crossroads is:
The place that will help them get a job when they didn't seem to get any support anywhere else.
The place that will give them access to the community resources they need.
The place that will give them purpose and direction.
The decisions these folks make today will affect them and their children tomorrow, and in turn, our community.

In 2010, Crossroads:
made 754 housing referrals for homeless individuals and families
moved 72 people into housing
helped 130 stranded travelers get home
assisted 1,344 new homeless people
